A NEW STAR of the pop world might be discovered on Wednesday, 28 June 2017 at the Haven Arms at 8:00 pm, when it stages one of the semi-finals of the Hull Daily Mail’s ‘Star Search’ competition.
Over 100 performers will have taken part in the heats since March, and 12 contestants will be competing to secure a place in the Grand Final at Hull City Hall with the winner set to get £2,017 – an appropriate amount for Hull’s City of Culture year.
